A Whwat beer / Weizen beer is a wheat beer of southern German or Bavarian origin. This wheat beer is brewed according to high fermentation. Wheat beers have at least 55% wheat malt in addition to barley malt. It is a top-fermenting beer with a lower alcohol content between 5% – 6% percent.
