Brewing beer at home has never been easier with this Home Brewing Kit – Basic Blond. This Home Brewing Kit is our “starter kit” and can be supplemented at will now or later with other beer brewing supplies. With this kit you can brew about 5 liters of Blond beer with approximately 6.7% Alcohol.
The Brew Monkey Home Brewing Kit – Basic Blond includes a fermentation bucket with tap and airlock. Each Home Brewing Kit includes an ingredient pack with freshly milled malt, hops and yeast so you can get started right away. We have 4 different ingredient packs to choose from, from light to darker beers and low to higher alcohol content.
The Home Brewing Kit is ideal to get started yourself or to give as a gift. Should you like brewing your own beer you can brew more often with the different Ingredient Packages available in the webshop. In fact, all the tools included in this package are reusable!
Blond beers are smooth, fresh and accessible. Blond beer gets its name from the golden yellow, blond color of the beer. Blond beer is a top-fermenting beer type where the alcohol content can vary, often between 5% and 7%. Fermentation takes place at a relatively high temperature of 15 to 25 C° which makes it easy for home brewers to brew beer at home, for example, ferment in the kitchen or cellar. The taste of a Blonde beer is generally smooth. The light malts used usually do not have such a pronounced flavor, so hops and yeast dominate however without being overpowering.
